How NestGenie looks after your family’s information

What NestGenie is

NestGenie is a family helper. Parents reach her by phone, by Telegram and on the family website. She keeps track of the things a household runs on: who is in the family, allergies, schedules, meals, groceries and the small jobs in between. This policy says, in plain words, what we keep, why, who can see it, and how you can take it with you or have it deleted.

What we collect

• What your family tells her. The things you say on the phone, type on Telegram, or enter on the family website, such as names, ages, allergies, routines, events and preferences.
• Who said it and when. Every fact she keeps carries who told her and when, so you can always see where something came from and correct it.
• Phone calls. We keep a written transcript of each call. If you opt out of recordings, the voice audio is deleted and only the transcript is kept.
• Your sign-in details. The email address and phone number you use to reach her, so she knows which household you belong to.
• Google Calendar, only if you connect it. See the Google Calendar section below.

How we use it

• We use your information only to run NestGenie for your household.
• We do not sell it.
• We do not use it to train AI models ourselves.

Google Calendar

Connecting Google Calendar is optional. When a parent connects it, NestGenie asks Google for three permissions:

• Read your calendars (calendar.readonly). She reads the events on the calendars you tick, so she can tell you what is coming up and answer questions about your schedule.
• Read and add events (calendar.events). She adds or changes an event on your own calendar only when a parent asks her to.
• A calendar NestGenie creates for its own entries (calendar.app.created). She makes one NestGenie calendar in your Google account and puts the events she sets up there. You can delete it at any time.

NestGenie never reads your email, contacts or files.

Disconnecting Google Calendar removes our access at once. Events already imported stay on your family's record until you remove them, or until your household's stored data is deleted on request to support. A parent can disconnect at any time from Settings on the family website or from their Google Account permissions page.

Your Google sign-in token is stored encrypted. Calendar events are stored on our database like the rest of your family's record, protected by access controls, not encrypted field by field.

NestGenie's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Questions: support@nestgenie.ai.

Who can see your information

• Your household. The people you add see what their role allows. Parents see the household’s record.
• Helpers see less. A sitter, nanny or visiting grandparent you add gets limited access by default. A helper never sees finances, insurance, a parent’s personal calendar or saved logins.
• The companies that run her. What your family tells her, including calendar events, goes to the AI model provider that writes her replies (through OpenRouter). Phone calls run through ElevenLabs.
• NestGenie staff. Our team looks up a household only to help with support, and every lookup is logged. Staff also review messages that her safety checks flag. Staff run the grocery board: they place grocery orders, and they can reveal a saved grocery login to do it, with each reveal recorded.

Keeping and deleting your information

• Corrections keep the history. When you correct a fact or take a person off the family list, the old entry stays in your family’s history rather than being wiped.
• Removing your household. Removing your household takes it out of use at once; it is no longer read or shown. Deletion of the stored data happens on request to support. You can remove your household from Settings on the family website.
• Call recordings. If you opt out of recordings, the voice audio is deleted. The written transcript is kept.
• Google Calendar. Disconnecting deletes your Google sign-in token. Imported events stay, as described above. Removing your household does not delete them; they stay stored until the deletion is done on request.
• Downloading your information. From Settings on the family website you can download, as a file, the facts she keeps about your family and their history. The download does not include calendar events, conversations or call transcripts.

Children

NestGenie is for parents. Parents tell her about their children so she can help the household. We do not knowingly collect information from children directly, and there is no child account.
