The terms for using NestGenie
Last updated October 23, 2026
What NestGenie is
NestGenie is a family helper. Parents reach her by phone, by Telegram and on the family website. She keeps track of the things a household runs on: who is in the family, allergies, schedules, meals, groceries and the small jobs in between.
NestGenie is in beta. It is still being built, some features are not switched on yet, and during the beta it is open to the families we invite. Features may change while we build it.
These terms are the agreement between your household and NestGenie LLC (“NestGenie”, “we”). By using NestGenie you agree to them. How we handle your family’s information is set out in our privacy policy.
Who can use it
- A parent opens the household. The household is opened by a parent or legal guardian who is 18 or older.
- Adults only. That parent can invite other adults: a partner or co-parent, and helpers such as a sitter, a nanny or a grandparent. There are no child accounts.
- You are responsible for what your household shares. The parents who run the household are responsible for what the household tells her, and for having the right to share it. That includes what you tell her about your children and about the people who help you, such as a grandparent’s phone number.
What she does, and what she does not promise
- She helps you organize family life. She remembers what your family tells her, plans meals, builds grocery lists, reads out the day and the week, and reminds you of things. She works from what your family tells her, so she is only as up to date as what she has been told.
- She asks first. She asks before spending money and before contacting anyone outside your household. Grocery ordering is not on yet for families in the beta. When it is, an order is placed only after a parent approves it, and nothing is bought without that yes.
- She can make mistakes. She is an AI helper. Check anything that matters before you rely on it.
- She is not a doctor, a lawyer or an emergency service. She does not diagnose and does not recommend medicines. Her parenting ideas are general guidance, not professional advice. Ask a doctor, a pharmacist or another professional when you need one.
- In an emergency, call 911. She will tell you to call 911, and on a phone call she stays on the line with you, but she does not call emergency services for you. If something you tell her suggests someone is in danger, she answers with care and a person on our team is alerted.
- Allergies and health details are kept as your family gave them. She keeps an allergy or a health detail as your family typed it, or as a parent confirmed it when she read it back on a call. She checks every meal she plans against the allergies on record, but she cannot know about an allergy nobody told her. Keep this information current, and read food labels yourself.
Accounts and seats
- Signing in. You sign in to the family website with a link we email you. There is no password.
- Telegram. You link your Telegram to the household from the family website.
- Phone. She knows a caller by the phone numbers a parent has confirmed for the household. A number she does not know gets no family information.
- One household. Each account belongs to one household. Parents who live apart can each run their own household and choose whether to link the two homes. Linking shares the children’s details between the two homes and keeps the rest private.
- Parents and helpers have different rights. Parents run the household. Helpers see less by default and never see finances, insurance, a parent’s personal calendar or saved logins. A parent can change or end a helper’s access at any time, and another adult’s access when the household itself gave that seat; NestGenie support ends any other seat on request. A parent can also set a helper’s access to end on a date.
- Keep your sign-in safe. Do not share your sign-in links or the one-time codes we send you. If a phone is lost, a parent can cut it off at once from the family website.
Your family's information
- It is your family’s. Our privacy policy says what we keep, why, and who can see it. We do not sell it.
- Nothing goes outside your household without your yes. She does not send your family’s information to anyone outside your household, such as a teacher, a coach or a shop, unless a parent in your household says yes first, to the one person named. The companies that run her and our own team see it only as the privacy policy describes.
- You can take it with you. From Settings on the family website you can download the facts she keeps about your family and their history. The privacy policy says what the download includes.
- You can delete it. You can remove your household from Settings on the family website, and it is out of use at once. Deletion of the stored data is done on request to support@nestgenie.ai.
Billing
- Today no card is charged. NestGenie is in beta, and families in the beta are not charged.
- When billing starts, it goes through Stripe. Stripe handles your card; NestGenie does not keep your card number.
- You see the price first. Plans and prices are shown to you before any charge.
- Cancel any time. Once billing starts, you can cancel a plan from the family website, and cancelling stops future charges.
Using NestGenie fairly
Use NestGenie for your own household, and lawfully. Please do not:
- use her to harm, harass, track or deceive anyone;
- share information about someone that you have no right to share;
- try to reach another household’s information or get into our systems;
- use bots, scrapers or scripts to talk to her or to use the family website, or resell the service;
- try to get around her safety checks, her limits or another person’s access;
- use NestGenie for anything unlawful.
Ending the service
- You can leave any time. Remove your household from Settings on the family website and cancel any plan. For deletion of the stored data, write to support@nestgenie.ai.
- We can suspend misuse. If a household or a person misuses NestGenie or breaks these terms, we can suspend or end their access. To ask why, write to support@nestgenie.ai.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, the new version goes on this page with a new date at the top. If you do not agree with a change, you can stop using NestGenie, as described above.
Governing law
NestGenie is run by NestGenie LLC in the United States. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
